An original pencil drawing on paper by contemporary artist Fermin Jhon, inspired by the Crucifixion account in the Gospel of John from the Bible.
It is Finished draws inspiration from the biblical story of Christ’s crucifixion, especially the moment of His death on the cross. Visually, the drawing is inspired by the left main door of the Milan Cathedral. The piece aims to hold the story of Christ’s final moments, inviting the viewer to feel the narrative, not just see it.
The artwork is done in charcoal, graphite, and Inks on a 15 × 20 inch surface, professionally sealed with Fixative Spray that permanently fixes and protects the surface from smudges. Layered with acid-free glassine for surface protection, the artwork is carefully rolled with protective layers and shipped in heavy-duty archival tubes to prevent creasing or damage.

The terms “Original” and “Originals” refer to one-of-one artworks by FERMIN J., created entirely by hand using traditional drawing methods and materials. These works are the physical result of hours of observation, layering, refinement, and mark-making — preserving the raw texture and tonal depth that exist only in the original surface itself.
No two Originals are ever recreated exactly alike. Each piece carries its own subtle imperfections, graphite grain, pressure variations, and physical presence that cannot be fully replicated through reproduction.

Digital Releases are professionally photographed digital versions of the Originals, made available as single high-resolution .tif files originally intended for tattoo reference purposes and unsigned poster print. Each release is faithfully reproduced from its corresponding Original to preserve the depth, texture, and tonal integrity of the original drawing as accurately as possible in digital form.
Each purchase includes a personal use license, granting permission for non-commercial personal use of the product. The license does not transfer ownership or commercial reproduction rights of any kind. The Original and all associated reproduction rights remain the intellectual property of FERMIN J.
